Founded by Dick Haakenson in 1983, Pacific Mobile Structures, Inc. began operations from a temporary 10’ x 50’ mobile office trailer on a one-acre piece of property in Chehalis, WA. In the early years of business the company successfully completed several government contracts in Washington and grew steadily every year. In 1997 the company designed and built a 12,000 square foot two-story modular building to serve as the corporate headquarters and provide a showpiece demonstrating the innovative capabilities of commercial modular construction. There are currently eight branch locations throughout the NW and California. Our philosophy is to develop state-of-the-art service facilities for our rental and sales operations to provide an environment that our employees are extremely proud of and allows us to provide the highest level of service for our customers. We have approximately 100 full time employees consisting of a highly experienced sales, project management, technical service and administrative staff.

A wide range of projects have been completed from small temporary job-site offices to permanent multi-story high tech office buildings. Over the last three years our annual revenues have averaged over $45,000,000. The company has been profitable every year since the company opened for business.

Our financial position is very strong and we have the credit and bonding capacity to take on projects over $10,000,000.

With the client taking an active role in the design of a building, we can convert their needs into a conceptual floor plan in days versus weeks.
